Hai,
Yes, you have checked the fuse but there is no defect right.....!!!!!!!
Please check the power section some time if there is any problem means it will not turn on, i mean to say that inside the dvd player power section.

How do I connect a turntable to a Wharfedale DVD65ST

I don't think a turntable will work because the unit you mentioned is a portable DVD Player, not a stereo amplifier.

Front panel not responding

Please perform the following steps:

1. Unplug the power cord from the unit.

2. Press and hold OK and Cancel buttons together while plugging in the power cord back to the unit.
3. Turn on the unit.

If the issue persists, please replace the unit. From my experience repairing coast HP OfficeJet 7310xi is almost equal to the coast of a new printer.

I just want to ask,my wharfedale problem is auto shut off when i turn on my unit What is the possible problem with kind of signal

it could be that you are sending out a burst of sound when you power up, this is causing the wharfedale to cut out to save the cones. make sure the volume is turned down when you power up, then bring it up to the required level after you power up.

My wharfedale lcd42f1080p just went bang when plugging it in!!

Sounds like something else in the power supply. The surge inrush current could have blown the bridge rectifier. (device which changes AC to a pulsating DC for the power supply). You may need to have the power supply serviced or replaced.

Speaker connection from Denon AVR 2105 to Wharfedale suround

The spkrs sound like they are bi-amp spkrs, meaning you have multiple terminals on the backs of each spkr, the jumpers on the spkrs should be connected as such. Now you just connect the spkrs according to the Denon spkr conection diagram. Do not use the surround back unless you have 6 or 7 pair of spkrs

This is a common fault with these units there is a problem in the power supply ( leaky capacitors ) the manufactures used the wrong type 85c not 105c thus the break down.
Do not attempt to repair this there are very high voltages and can kill ask a qualified person with the correct equipment to carry out this work for you

hi there
its an outside chance but if you hold down the power button and the play button together when you plug the player in it usually resets the software. if it doesn't work, what the hell it was a freeby !

good luck

Hi Barb22,

Sounds faulty to me, I'd take it back to the store and get a replacement. However, I guess you want that DVD out first? I'm not sure this will work because the units logic board is mostly likely faulty and will prevent the DVD transport from opening. Unplug the unit and press the eject button, keeping it pressed plug the unit back in. If the unit does not come on then press the power button too. If the unit starts to open release the button immediately. It's unlikely to eject, but you might get lucky.

Sorry I can't be of much further help.

Regards,
