Test it using Windows Printers first, if you get a TEST label, you are ok. Make sure the ribbon type is the one pertaining to your label type, also make sure the temperature is between 12-13 to make sure you have a good burn. If this does not work, flip the ribbon to have it print on the REVERSE, some ribbons are weird like this.

I've had that happen a couple of times over the past few years and what I found each time was that the printhead latch was not pushed quite all the way down. Lifting it and locking it down tight fixed the problem. If yours never prints at all it is probably a different problem.

When the printer receives print information, the power LED blinks, but then you do not receive anything, check the communication cable LPT or serial is the speed of communication and the correct port (COM1, COM2, etc) .

I have a Zebra Z4M printer. We use it to print on various labels - pre-printed and blank labels (semi-gloss). I've been struggling to print on one of the pre-printed labels. Everything else prints...

some labels are hard to calibrate, nee to calibrate the sensors with manual calibration.
1} go to the MEDIA AND RIBBON CALIBRATION,
2}take 2 or 3 labels from the base paber, load the way to the based paper stay unther the sensors, 3}close printhead.
4} press ok.
5} Move the ribbon out from sensors and close the printhead.
6) press ok
7) wen printer ask RELOAD ALL, load the labels correcly and the ribbon, close the printhead and the top door, and press ok. The printer run the calibration it self.
wen finish, saved (press setub twice) and test.

Dymo label writer 400 turbo will not print

Uninstall the software and disconnect the printer from your PC. Then reinstall version 8 of the Dymo Software (without the printer connected) and connect the printer when prompted by the software.

Make sure you are using version 8 of the dymo label software - it is compatible with Windows 7.

The code between the labels indicates either you are using labels designed for another model or that it is thinking it has a shippinhg label opr some lareger type installed. IT is more likely to be the first option, you are usinjg the wrong coded labels

Display reads ready, but when print is press the labels run but nothing is printed on the labels.

Is your label "direct thermal"? or using a ribbon to print.

If using ribbon, high probability that you install the ribbon the other way around.

I am printing individual labels and want the stop after printing the label - goes down 4 or 5 labels

You have to go into your printer settings and change the size of the "paper" you are printing to so that it matches the size of the labels you are printing to.
