I'm sorry, i cant. but it might be covered under your homeowner's insurance. to stop this from happening in the future, try a tracking aplication, like lojack. also, try filing a police report

Can you trace a stolen toshiba satellite c655d-s5200

Not that I know of.

You can install a tracking software in the computer, for in case it's stolen, but this has to be BEFORE it is stolen.

Rest assured whomever stole it will get their just reward.
Karma, you know.

How do i restore a toshiba Satellite A215-S5839 back to factory settings but thge hdd has a built in password

You my friend are up the creek without a paddle. How could you forget the Hard Drive Password? Oh I know, it's a stolen laptop. If you're smart enough to set a password on the hard drive, then you're smart enough to remember it. 99% of computers with passwords on the hard drive and the person that has the laptop doesn't know the password, either stole it or bought it hot off the streets. The real owner set the password to keep thieves from getting to sensitive data if it is ever stolen. They might have even set the password remotely once it was stolen. The laptop is useless unless the real owner puts the password in to unlock it.

How do i unregister toshiba satelite hdd1/ssd1 password

99% of the time if the hard drive has a password on it and the possessor does not know the password, it's a stolen laptop. The original owner put the password on to keep thieves from getting into sensitive data. Sometimes the original owner can set the password on the drive remotely after it was stolen. The drive is locked forever unless the person that put the password on unlocks it.

Password bios

If you have "forgotten" the password, find the original sales-receipt, to prove that you are the owner (and not a thief in possession of a stolen laptop) and make a telephone-call to TOSHIBA, and they can help the registered owner with the password.

I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite A305-S6916 from a guy, he gave me some codes to it, but not a password. I don't have it and how can I unlock the laptop?

If the system has a start up password and you do not have it you will need to contact Toshiba. The information you are looking for is not public to help protect against laptop theft. If the laptop is not reported as stolen, Toshiba will unlock it for a fee.

Good luck, Jim

To prove that you are the original owner of the laptop, and not a thief that has stolen the laptop, find the original sales receipt.

Then, telephone Toshiba, and get assistance from them.
