Psql pro onboard ethernet problem

I just built this today and everything works fine except the ethernet port. At start up it tells me to activate windows. There are two options by tele or over the internet. I cannot access my desktop at all until I finish this process. The real problem is this. The mobo does not recognize that I have an ethernet cable plugged in. The indicator lights do not even light up. Help me!!! I tried over the tele, but Microsoft said to call back in 1 hour due to problems.

There maybe another problem is the service network or local network service files are turn off or on manual settings, they need to be on automatic automatic delayed.

service folder is very important and if you mess with it it can make life a nightmare from hell, if you fell uneasy making these changes than have a computer nerd friend help you to understand these files and ther importrance of the folder.

another problem maybe virus program like windows defender, anti virus programs, firewalls, networking and sharing information folders that are in the control panal,

devices managers, windows default folders,

THIS MAYBE A SOFTWARE ISSUE, WHAT I MEAN, GO INTO PROPERTIES OF THIS DEVICE AND SEE IF IT IS WORKING PROPERLY, IF IT WORKING OF OKAY YOU NEED TO CALL THE PROVIDER OF YOUR INTERNET AND HAVE THEM RESET THE SYSTEM SO IT CAN UPDATE ALL THE NEW CHANGES YOU MADE WITH UPGRADED SYSTEM

GO INTO CONTROL PANAL UDER NETWORKING AND LOOK AROUND SEE IF SEE YELLOW TRIANGLE, RED CHK MARK, GREEN CHECK MARD EVERYTHING OKAY WITHIN YOUR SYSTEM.

Ethernet not appearing on xp pro

Check the BIOS to make sure the LAN/Ethernet port is enabled. Run the Add Hardware wizard in Windows to see if it can find the port. If it can't, then the port is bad. You have 2 options; replace the motherboard or buy a $10 ethernet card and install it.

The onboard ethernet card just stopped working. There is no fix I can find. I reinstalled windows and the drivers. once you instal the driver it only will start in safe mode.

Reboot your PC and hit F10 or F2 or any key it shows on your screen and go into BIOS setup and there should have one entry you can disable the onboard ethernet card.
