Psql pro onboard ethernet problem

I just built this today and everything works fine except the ethernet port. At start up it tells me to activate windows. There are two options by tele or over the internet. I cannot access my desktop at all until I finish this process. The real problem is this. The mobo does not recognize that I have an ethernet cable plugged in. The indicator lights do not even light up. Help me!!! I tried over the tele, but Microsoft said to call back in 1 hour due to problems.

There maybe another problem is the service network or local network service files are turn off or on manual settings, they need to be on automatic automatic delayed.

service folder is very important and if you mess with it it can make life a nightmare from hell, if you fell uneasy making these changes than have a computer nerd friend help you to understand these files and ther importrance of the folder.

another problem maybe virus program like windows defender, anti virus programs, firewalls, networking and sharing information folders that are in the control panal,

devices managers, windows default folders,

THIS MAYBE A SOFTWARE ISSUE, WHAT I MEAN, GO INTO PROPERTIES OF THIS DEVICE AND SEE IF IT IS WORKING PROPERLY, IF IT WORKING OF OKAY YOU NEED TO CALL THE PROVIDER OF YOUR INTERNET AND HAVE THEM RESET THE SYSTEM SO IT CAN UPDATE ALL THE NEW CHANGES YOU MADE WITH UPGRADED SYSTEM

GO INTO CONTROL PANAL UDER NETWORKING AND LOOK AROUND SEE IF SEE YELLOW TRIANGLE, RED CHK MARK, GREEN CHECK MARD EVERYTHING OKAY WITHIN YOUR SYSTEM.

How do I connect to the internet when using Netflix? I have plugged an ethernet directly from modem into Blu-ray and still nothing works. I have tried everything

Check if a light on the router comes on to tell you that something is connected to the port behind .if you have more than one port try others also try more than one cable.if your blue ray has wifi it will override Ethernet.check the settings on the blue ray as that should give you connection status....and tell you if Ethernet is up and running in its network settings.
you may need to go to the manufacturer of you blueray's website ie.g.if it's a Sony Buda by registering the product with them to activate a user: pass word of your choosing. and configure the player to activate it via a tablet laptop or computer.you can google more info on this subject.good luck!

Computer restarts everytime i connect monitor to it

It sounds like the onboard video is failing. The computer should have a PCI Express x16 slot. You can get a basic graphics card to install into the machine for about $35 locally.

OnBoard USB Ports Not Working and No PS/2 Ports!

When you boot the machine does it tell you what key to hit to get into the BIOS or System Setup? If so, press it. Maybe you need to try another keyboard if it won't allow you to press a key to get into the Bios or System Setup.

Ethernet not appearing on xp pro

Check the BIOS to make sure the LAN/Ethernet port is enabled. Run the Add Hardware wizard in Windows to see if it can find the port. If it can't, then the port is bad. You have 2 options; replace the motherboard or buy a $10 ethernet card and install it.

Maxtor 500g network drive

Describe to me exactly how you are set-up. Include the IP addresses of each device and exactly what ports are being used on each device. Could like an IP mistake or in some cases an X-over cable is still required IF your switch does not have does not have a x-o button on it. But that depends how things are connected. These are the 2 most likely but need the above info to diagnose.

Ethernet Port seems to be a failure, but the USB works fine

I managed to fix the problem manually using a computer kit I had.
The problem was the Ethernet port on the modem was messed up
you should check if the small wires are on the back are all facing towards the top if not you should try to fix its actually pretty easy
no need to pay for a repair :D
