Internal speaker Jobcom JMX141D

We have replaced the internal speakers ourselves in the past by robbing speakers from old dead radios. The boneyard is now dry. Where can we get speakers for these units?

The manufacturer Ritron at 800-872-1872 or Delmmar Comm at 800-872-2627. You will most likely need both the speaker and the speaker felt.

My rear speakers won't work in my 2001 Malibu. Stock system and wires to speaker okay. fader set Correct. Could it be speakers are junk?

Get a known good speaker an hook it up in place of the old ones an see if it works , if it does the old one is no good . Now if it doesn't work the radio isn't set correctly or that channel of the radio is blown .

Radio has power the display button works but radio will not play

You either have a blown speaker or the amplifier in the radio has gone bad. Sometimes a blown speaker will act as an additional ground thus grounding out the radios internal amp. Check your speaker by hooking them to an external audio source. If you do have a blown speaker once it is removed all working speakers should play. Speakers should be replaced in pairs. If they all work its the radio itself. It will need to be replaced.

Ummmm....the radio is at least 14 years old...ya think? They originally had a one-year warranty on them unless you purchased the 3 year warranty. In a word...no.

Denon avr1200 G ----one speaker channel stopped working....

Hello
Check the speaker first. Connect an other box to the output now seems dead. If this does not help you, it is best to get this set repaired by any experienced service technician. It internal amp circuit will have the trouble. The circuit of this set is very complicated, as only a well expereienced only can set it right. There is no internal fuse for outputs to this set.

I have a 12 year old Motorola FRS 250 radio that needs a speaker. I would like to find a replacement speaker (internal) but don't know where I can purchase them. I need these radios for a...

You have a few options: check with your local radio dealer or radio shack store for a similar speaker, purchase another used T250 radio via ebay or other source, or simply retire the T250 and purchase another low cost TalkAbout radio. All these radios operate on the same 14 FRS frequencies. Motorola has never supplied parts for this line of consumer radios. They had a replacement warranty, then following the expiration of your warranty they were considered disposable/replaceable. Sorry.

Best regards.

Reciever not clear

You might try an external speaker in case the internal speaker is going bad. If this doesn'y correct the problem you might consider having the reciever alighned to put it dead on frequency.

HI BBunk,

Sounds like the dead speaker took out the amplifier output too. You may need a new head unit.
