Question about Toshiba Gigabeat MEGF40S MP3 Player
I have downloaded about 6000 songs on my Toshiba Gigabeat F40 over the past two years. The other day after recharging my player, all the songs have dissapeared and are unable to view on the MP3 player. I know that the songs are there because when I plug the system to my computer, I can see the files updating. When I try to refresh the library, I get a message of "Failed to update the library. Part of the data may not be updated correctly. Please update the library." At this moment, my MP3 player is unplayable, can you assist me with this. Scott Hempler
I have a gigabeat 30GB. You may not like the anwser but here goes. I think from experience that your player is Dead. the only thing that you might do is: If you can see the songs using windows explorer then you can move them to the HDD of your computer. If you have all of your songs on your PC already, simply use explorer to delete the files on the player. then sync it from scratch.
