Regular sites, no problems with grapics, etc.

I use Internet Explorer and the operating system is xp -- and yes I think it's blogsites...I really appreciate your time here...

  • kschenenga Jan 28, 2009

by the way, one effort to open a page sent up a message that said I might need to download something having to do with "php?" -- I am sorry I didn't write it down...

  • kschenenga Jan 30, 2009

Hi and again many thanks. I followed your suggestions ... the button said 'restore defaults' rather than 'restore advanced settings' but I assumed I should click it...then apply...then ok.

Alas, no change. I notice that I get pictures, graphics, videos w/o problem except if the site is whatever.blogspot.com...then I only get the background color, no writing, nothing.

If you have any thoughts, I'd be grateful. Cheers, Keith

What browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc.) are you using? and what Operating system (XP, Vista, etc.) do you have? Is it only blog sites?

From Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options and click on the "Advanced" tab. Click on "Restore Advanced Settings." If you're using IE7, also click on the "Reset" button underneath (be sure to note the warnings it gives you.)

Thepiratebay org downloads

TPB recently went from having or hosting the torrents to being a reference site...the most popular at the moment is YIFY Torrents...in fact, sometimes, the TPB site will jump to The piratebay.se...Anyway...you have to use a program that will automatically open the torrent file after it is downloaded...I use uTorrent...Good Luck!!! It's not as hard as it looks...look for torrents with the highest number of seeds/seeders and good references, VIP or Trusted uploaders...those are the guys that actually put the torrents on their sites...

Do you get this message when you try to open your Gmail account? This is a common problem. Are you logging in from www.gmail.com? Then try the address https://mail.google.com/mail/ and try to login to your account.

Javascript void(0) keeps coming up when i try to access sites.

Go to "Add or Remove programs" - Remove all "Java" related programs. Could be a few entries because of updates.

Then go to: http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

Download and install Java.

You should be fine after that.

I have a Lexmark all in one x4250 ink jet printer and a new computer with windows vista. I cannot get the printer to print a whole page from the computer. As well, the print is often 2 or 3 lines on top of...

Go to the Lexmark site. More than likely if the unit is more than a few years old you will not find Vista drivers. Most manuf. have their hands full creating Vista drivers for current products and are making no effort to provide for older equipment. Be prepared to throw it away. It is a problem for many varient Operating Systems: XP64-bit, Linux, etc.
