I have the same problem, one thing I did find, if when the AKAI logo comes on, if you use the remote and hit enter, the unit will stay on. holding any button on the unit, you can use the remote as normal, as long as you finish with hitting the enter button while holding any key on tv.

I had the exact same problem. Googled and fond someone had gotten the tv to stay on by hitting "enter" on the remote as soon as they saw "AKAI" logo onscreen. That didn't work for me, but it got me holding other buttons down on the remote, all tried no go. So I then decided to tinker with buttons on the tv itself and VOILA! If I hold down the MENU button on the tv, the damn thing works perfectly! Every function still works from the remote too. So I taped the MENU button ON THE TV down, and all is well. After having the tv sit for 6 months, tripping over it during a move... now I have it back and no repair bill. Hope it works for you guys.

No charge... ;)

I touch the on/off button on the Prima TV to turn

I am sure you had some strong static electricity. The static spark arced to inside of the TV in to the circuit board. Many of the low cost TV sets have poor static electricity protection.
In most cases there is damaged caused by static shock to electronic devices.
Just for curiosity, you can try unplugging the set from the AC mins and plugging it back in to do a simple reset, in case there is no damage and some logic device became hung up.
Last year I picked up my mobile phone and got a static shock from it. I had to get a new phone. This phone never worked again!

Something inside the PS2 is busted so you might need to go to gamestop and get it fixed

TV won't turn on.

Stevenson

the fact that you got shock is because something is not right inside the tv. You need to have that tv check because a manufacturer will not fabricated a tv that can electrocute anyone, specially when you turn the volume. Static electricity is always present in front of any tv that might be the cause of why you got shock. By removing your coat, and touch some metallic object you may get electrocuted, because of static electricity. Please, I want you to have that tv check, I can check that tv for you. I felt something is wrong inside the tv, and something is loose inside like pennies and toys objects. That's my impression. My e-mail address Stevebuy31@hotmail.com

When you experienced that shock you may have inadvertenly sent an electro static discharge to the circuitry inside the ps2 which would cause it to stop working.
If it is fairly new return it to the store you purchased it let them know whar happened and usually they will exchange the item for you.

You could have possible liquid or shock damage done to your phone. If it has been dropped multiple times it could be suffereing from shock. It doesnt matter where you are or the time of day those issues are sort of sporadic and unpredictable. If the phone has liquid damage (sweat, moisture, steam, juice, oil, saliva, etc.), the motherboard could have been short circuited which leads to power cycling of your device. There should be a lithmus paper on your battery and your phone that should be white or white with purple or red x's on it. If the paper is red, pink, or purple you may have possible liquid damage. You may need to also test your battery to ensure it is not shorted or has a low SOC.

Static Electricity

if you created a desktop folder of the tunes you transferred to the unit... reformat! that will make the re-transfer of your tunes much easier. the unit is metallic and static is bad but unless you put it in the microwave you should be able to revive the Delstar 31024.

easiest way: erase the memory via the usb. look for the 'removable' storage device from 'my computer'. open the folder and single click the top file. scroll to the bottom of the list and WHILE holding down the SHIFT key single click the last item. you have now 'blocked' or selected all files. 'right click' select delete. poof, you're empty.

disconnect the Delstar from the computer by a single click on the usb icon displayed in the lower right corner of your computer's desktop (look for the clock) follow the prompts to properly disconnect.

remove the Delstar31024 triple"A" battery let the unit sit for thirty seconds, then reinstall the battery. don't turn the unit on until you've reconnected via usb to the computer and recopied all of your files back!
