thanks for the reply,, i did check with toshiba, and the firmware is up to date,, it only need the combination code to go to a maintenace to change the counter from 2 to 1,, they told me it is set to 2 now, and i need the codes for the service mode, to be able to go and change it,,, example on my CLC1150 cannon, the sevice code is function 81,, so what is it for the TOSHIBA 281 C

    thanks

FYI, if copy 1 side of A4, then is count as 1. If both sides, count as 2.
If copy 1 side of A3, then is count as 2. If both sides, count as 4.
That's the default settings on the MFP.

If u want to be copy 1 side of A3 and count as 1, u need to adjust the setting mode.
Press 08 and ON MFP, Enter 346, change "1" to "0".

It may need a firmware upgrade to fix the count. You will have to contact a Toshiba dealer in your area to get one.

Wow I didn't know they were doing that. If that machine was charging you by the piece for a service agreement that could rack things up higher.

My toshiba e studio 281c will not print in colour it will only copy in colour

Your print driver is probably set to monochrome. Usually there are to drivers set up on your computer: a pcl5 for black/white, and a ps3 for color--or vice-versa. Right click your driver; you can change the setting in your preference or properties section.

How do I find the copy counter function on the E-Studio 600 copier?

If the e-Studio 600 is similar to other Toshiba models (like the e-Studio 452 or e-Studio 3510c) you can view the copy count by simply pressing the User Functions button, and it should be displayed in the lower right corner.

If you don't see it there, select Total Counter while you're in the User Functions screen, then select Print Counter.

Did that help?
