Can fax to a toll free number but not to a local number

The easiest way to experiment with this problem is to plug in a phone in place of the fax.Take the list of numbers and try dialing them with the phone. Many local carriers now require for you do dial a "1" before the exchange, even if you are in the same area code.(I live in the D.C. area, and we have to dial "1" first).I believe adding a 1 to your local fax numbers will correct this issue. If not,try dialing another number at your location. If you can call one of your other numbers OK,but cannot dial to a local number even when dialing 1-area code-exchange-last four digits, this may be an issue with your long distance carrier.(Anytime you dial one before the other ten digits,it goes through along distance carrier, even on local calls).

I need to send 1 fax to several recepts

You can send a fax to up to 142 fax numbers, using any combination of dialing methods:
- One-touch Speed Dialing (up to 32 destinations)
Press the desired One-Touch Speed dial button(s)
- Coded Speed Dialing (up to 100 destinations)
Press [Coded Dial] > enter the 2 digit code (00-99) using the numeric buttons and be sure to press [Coded Dial] before each code
- Regular dialing and redialing (10 destinations)
Enter the number using the numeric buttons or [Redial/Pause] and be sure to press [Set] after each entry with the numeric keys

After all the numbers are listed, press [Start]. The machine will scan in the document (memory) and then begin sending it to the destinations in numerical order, starting with One-Touch, then Coded and finally the numbers dials with the numeric keys.

You can also create a group if you frequently send faxes to the same group of people by first saving them as One-Touch and then adding them to a new group.

How to fax from a samsung fax machine

hi friend,
Step 1Create a cover letter to use saying who the document is for and from as well as the intended fax number and your phone number. This alerts the office or home the fax is sent to who it is intended for. Place cover letter on top of your documents and insert them into the fax machine feeder facing in the direction the machine specifies.
  • Step 2Enter the fax number into the machine. There will be a number pad just like a phone on the fax machine. Carefully type in the number so you do not make any mistakes, as it is difficult to know when you have dialed a wrong fax number.
  • Step 3Hit the send key once you have properly entered all of the numbers into the machine. This will initiate the sending of the documents. The send key should be larger than the others and easy to locate. Traditionally, it is placed next to or below the keypad.
  • Step 4Wait for your documents to pass through the machine and collect them when finished. Whatever you are sending will pass through a series of rollers that feed it through the machine and copy it digitally.
  • Step 5Look for a confirmation page to print. This will tell you whether or not your fax successfully went through.
  • jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); })hope this helps u
