Yes, that model uses a 15Amp 125Volt ceramic fuse. I believe you must remove the cover (outer shell) of the micro to access the fuse, it should be located on the power supply board.

Where is the thermal fuse located at on kenmore microwave model 665

Depending on the total part number 665xxxxxx a replaceable fuse is located behind the control panel usuallyon the floor of the control cabinet.

on one specific model "not yours" to check out the fuse locations a part number 309796 was found and I've included an image. Values of the fuses change based on specific models.

A typical location is included in the following image.

26047724-i5ybdsgcpm55v0g4hkv2rsri-5-2.jpg During previous repairs the fuse holder has failed and has required repair in addition to the fuse being replaced. This work needs to be accomplished by a qualified repair person. Even with power remove voltages remain because of stored engergy in the capacitors.

Hope this has been of help?

I have kenmore mikewave over cook a meal, now no power, is there a fuse in them if so where, if so is there a no i can call to replace the fuse

My experience with another brand had the fuse inside the unit, which required taking the cover off. It was a glass cartridge fuse on the circuit board. This is a job for someone familiar with working with electrical devices.

Kenmore elite model #665.61683101, has no power, plug works but microwave has no display, is there a fuse in this model?

There is a line fuse for this oven. Remove the cabinet and the fuse should be close to the line cord. Replacement fuses should be found at your local appliance supply house.

Kenmore Model 721.66222500 just suddenly stopped working. No light, no power, no nothing.

I just had same problem happen on a Kenmore Model 721.89940490. I took off top panel and control panel. Behind control panel is a ceramic fuse. I pullud it out and checked with my mutimeter for continunity and it is blown. Since it is 20 years old I will get a new fuse and replace it. If it works good, if not I will have to go buy a new one to put under the cabinet. My contractor that built my house in 1994 directed wired it but I\'ll spend a little extra and put a plug in the cabinet, if I have to replace it. I suspect I won\'t but there is still that possibility.

Microwave turns on but doesn't cook

There is an inline fuse that is accessed by removing the outer casing. Follow the power line in to the magnatron and you should see the fuse. Make sure the fuse that you replace it with is the same as the one you removed. If this doesnt work then the magnatron has gone out.

Microwave electrical problem

Unplug, take all the screws out from around the case. Remove case. There is a fuse inside (Without Model number I can't tell you right where it's located) It looks like one of the old round car fuses only it's white colored. It's made of ceramic. Replace it and put unit back together. This is a common problem when one does what you are saying yours is. Be thankful that's all, if you had anything working it would be something major and would be cheaper to replace unit if it a counter top model.
  • NOTE: DO NOT REPLACE WITH CAR FUSE. USE ONLY MICRO WAVE FUSE.

Kenmore elite mircowave model 721,62369201...has a F9 error. ?? The unit runs, but does not heat up.

HI. in most cases, this will lead to a failed Heating device(magnetron tube). It would be wise to check the Magnetron cutoff fuse to be sure of its integrity. if the fuse is blown, simply replace it. if the fuse continues to show continuity, replace the magnetron.

(((The fuse is located inside the unit along side the magnetron)))
