Canon Multipass c20 driver for XP
MULTIPASS C20/C50 ON WINDOWS 2000/XP
This device is not compatible with Windows 2000 and Windows XP as a multifunctional device. For this product, Canon advertises compatibility with the following operating systems: Windows 95, 98, Millennium Edition (Windows ME).
Printing functionality may be possible by following the steps below.
Step 1 – Install a compatible printer driver.
1. Start the ‘Add Printer Wizard’ from the Printers folder (Windows 2000) or the Printers and Faxes folder (Windows XP).
2. Ensure that the ‘Automatically detect my plug and play printer’ tick-box is not ticked. Press next.
3. When prompted, ensure the printer port is selected on to LPT1. Press Next
4. When the list of manufacturers and models is displayed, click on Canon, and then BJC4200. Press next until the installation is completed.
5. The printer driver should now be installed.
If you are using the BC22e photo cartridge, you will need to download the BJC4200 driver from the www.canon.com.au website.
Step 2 – Setting the Multipass machine to Printer Mode.
1. On the Multipass keypad, press Function, followed by 0.
2. Press the left arrow key until you see Dos Printing.
3. Press Start twice.
If you have successfully completed the above instructions, you may now find that you are able to print to the Multipass machine. To restore the Multipass back to its original mode, press Function, and then Printer Reset.
