What your describing is a major video problem, poor color and it is blurr, It would be far cheaper to replace the monitor with a new one.

Diagnosing video problems on TVs and monitors

The first thing to always check is the MENU (osd - on screen display)

Push menu or display on your tv or monitor

- if the menu is clear, the problem is in the early stages of video or outside your device (could be the source (dvd, cablebox) or input connections

- if the menu is distorted, the problem is definitely a malfunction with your device the osd is generated from (tv menu distorted = 100% tv is problem)

* you can also use other OSD signals to troubleshoot - if the volume bar or display info (input label, info bar) is clear, problems are earlier in the circuitry or outside the device. don't be fooled by translucent menus or cablebox menus.

** osd is inserted in the picture in the later stages of video processing. if your osd is distored, suspect the circuitry after the video switch. this could be a bad LVDS cable, TCON or Logic board, or even a bad lcd panel, plasma panel, crt.

I have sony bravia LCD tv. i am getting problem in display... it looks too much brightness n blurred image... i reset it but no change... but when i plugged cables in another video input.. its clear..

that means you video input, where you are not getting clear display is faulty. the video processor associated that video input is faulty & need replacement. if it is not avialable saperately you need to replace the whole board.

I am using a Panasonic TH-50PD12U plasma display as tv monitor. Basic digital cable hooked up through vcr and s-video cable to display. The picture is not clear. Hooked up the computer and the words are...

What connectors do you have at each end, ie output and input?
Is it S-Video at each end or are you converting, as I suspect, composite video out, yellow RCA plug, to S-Video in on monitor?
Converting composite to S-Video via a passive cable doesn't yield good results, as its simply feeding the composite to the two S-Video signal-components, Chroma and Luminance.
As the video output of a VCR has limited bandwidth, the signal out will never be perfectly clear, but if you can get hold of an active 'powered' booster / sharpener / crispener unit, it will help to clean up and amplify the signal, so improving clarity.
Another point:
A lot of generic Composite<>S-Video cables simply bridge or short out the C 'chroma' & Y 'luminance' pins.
A hack to improve the timing signals is to solder a 470pF ceramic capacitor across C and Y as shown in schematic.
This circuit show S-video input, but may work as out.

Sir i have a toshiba leptop when i open my internet connection picture are not clear at any site please solve

Your question leaves out an important issue: Is it your display not clear in other programs, Desktop, Word, other Applications etc or only when you go on the INTERNET ?

I'll take it case by case:
1) Try another know GooD Computer on the Same Internet Connection if its the same than Change Modem and/or Router, check Wiring and Phone Connection ....Best to Calll your DSL or other Internet Provider and let them diagnose that with you.

2) If it is not clear with any programs: your "desktop", M.S. Word. other Applications etc, is not clear etc than it can be either internal Video Card in the Notebook which is probably integrated into the Mother Board and you would have to change the entire board to fix the problem. OR your Display Monoitor Module is failing. You can test that by using a REMOTE MONITOR (plugged into the vga port on the side). If that display is not clear its the Video Card. If that display IS Clear than its your Monitor Module which can be replaced..Instructions come with the module usually

2) If JUST the INTERNET is not clear than it is most likely the NETWORK DRIVER which you can download from the Toshiba Site (go to and look for DRIVERS both the VIDEO DRIVER and the NETWORK DRIVER and RUN THEM, install both.

Hail Mary: If all that doesnt work than save your data and use your RESTORE DISKS to Restore your Computer to FACTORY CONDITION . It will wipe out everything and reinstall all software, Internet Explorer and all Drivers.

iF ITS IS THE MOTHERBOARD BEST TO REPLACE NOTEBOOK ENTIRELY, NOT WORTH THE EFFORT OR $$ TO REPLACE MOTHERBOARD ...If you were able to do this; you would not be asking your question LOL :)

Good Luck !
