My girl took pics of wedding Saturday and viewed pics earlier today. When she went to look at them again, a message " Disc in Drive E is not formatted. Do you want to format disc now?" Of...

do not format -- you will lose the pictures

instead go to another computer that supports SD memory and CDRW. insert into that computer and then take all the PICS, save into that computer. now take a blank CD and take the saved PICs and burn into CD.
Also, to ensure you dont lose these pictures (PICs) you may want to buy a 4G or 8G USB thumb drive (about $10-$15 or less) -- drag and drop all the PICs (saved on that computer) into the USB thumb drive. Now you have on CD and USB drive.

hope this helps

wow, that's the first time that I heard of a Memory Stick Pro 4gb failing for someone. Try to take the memory stick pro to Walmart photo center to see if they can read the pictures. If they can't (or your local drug store) I don't know who can.

Good luck on this.

It may have to be unlocked in the camera settings. My phone has a lock feature for photos, to prevent accidenta erasing.

How unlock i lost password

i don't think micro sd cards have lock codes. If it's not letting you install pics or music then check the adapter that you put it in to when inserting it to your computer. The adapters have a no write lock on it's side. just slide it to unlock if it's locked.

My memory stick is protected

Hello,
Just wanted to know if there is a slide switch anywhere on the memory card? .. See the image below where it says LOCK:

Toggle the switch if there is any and that should help.

Camera & sd card got wet

There's no chance of you messing up the memory card further. Once the memory card dried up, you should be able to use an external card reader to look at the pics on it. This type of memory is less susceptible to corruption and therefore it can take a lot more punishment.

Good luck!

Ativa memory card

The card is probably formatted with a FAT16 filesystem. Try reformatting the card with a FAT32 filesystem.
