F1 Problem. The brain(CCU) has a memory. Unplug for I believe > 1 hr, could be more? Then try. There is a manual diagnostics to determine if the CCU is OK. This requires the washer to be EMPTY to run. I downloaded a copy of the Consumer Services Technical Education manual for the washer on-line somehow but have not tried the diagnostics program. I typed in Whirlpool Duet Washer and model number to find it. Good luck, I have the same problem along with another, soap dispenser arm is jaming up and I am wondering if they are related. My washer is about 2 years old. Dan

F1 is electrical. The brain called the CCU can be reset by unplugging the washer for an hour, this may help. I have this going on now Feb 14. The arm on the soap dispenser is also binding up and I am wondering if they are related. Good luck. Dan

You have a bad machine controller, check the warranty in your use and care guide to see if the part is covered under manufacturer warranty.

I have a duet sport WFW8300SW02 which I am having

Here is the code meaning
F26 is for door lock - do you hear the door lock one time or with click sound repeatedly.
F20 no water entering - do you check water coming into washer
F21 long drain-do you take a look of pump filter
Another possibility is the pressure switch was bad.
Hope you can figure out the issue.

I have a whirlpool Duet sport model number wfw8300sw02 and I am getting an F01 error. I know it is the CCU but I do not know the correct part number can you help?

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

FixYa is sorry but this Forum does not supply parts, part numbers, prices or other details direct; it's just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home, from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web. Also members on Fixya are not 'affiliated' to, or representative of, any manufacturer at all, just using their experience gained on many makes and models, probably over many years ;-0)

Spares Suppliers
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer spares' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can order. Alternately you could try telephone directories for spares suppliers but I would think the former would be more successful.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Whirlpool Duet Sport WFW8300SW02. Water pours out detergent disp

You could have a clog in the housing underneath the dispenser where the water flows through a hose into the tub.
Pull the dispenser drawer completely out.
There is a tab that needs to be depressed to release the drawer and remove it.
Check the opening at the bottom of the housing just inside the dispenser housing opening to see if a small sock or garment is clogging this opening.
Reach down into this opening to see if an item is inside the hose.
This is the normal issue that will cause water to leak out of the dispenser housing.

Wash the dispenser drawer thoroughly with warm water. Make sure that you pull off the siphon covers and wash all siphon holes. This process is described in your owner's manual. Replace the dispenser drawer and try the washer again.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question%%%%%
