-   Basically the same problem, but only onone folder. If I open the folder it crashes straight away, but if I only open the files in that folder from the explorer directory there is no problem. Curiouser and curiouser !!!-   Guest

Thanks for sharing your problem,
Appcrash problem comes whenever any application stops working abruptly. There may be several reasons.
If this happenes with any particular applications:-
Please goto control panel --> Administrative tools --> Event viewer. See the red indicated message if some file crash is reported. Please repair windows either using WinDoc, System Mechanic or Windows Setup CD.
Uninstall application repair regietery and reinstall it.
If this happened with all the applications including windows programs:-
Please check if RAM is currupt (Replace RAM and see effect)
Repair/Upgrade Windows using same Windows Installar Disk
