Question about Sharp MX-2700N Color Copier

Sharp 2700N has gray bands on copies

I have worked on this problem several times but it keeps coming back. I have replaced the primary transfer unit. Does it need a new drum unit for the bkack?

be very careful you could cost your self allot of $

If the grey band moves it could be 1 of 2 things 1st try cleaning the fuser section be careful it is very hot, and if you not familiar with this you may want to find a service provider, it can get a little tricky, 2nd it could be the Drum cleaning blade and the drum need to be replaced. if you take the drum out this also can be very tricky. It sounds also like it may just need to be cleaned like the mirrors and platen.

They normally come as a entire device you don't touch belt as that is what puts the image on the paper, mess with that and all your copies will look bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a code h4-30 on a sharp mx-2700n how do I reset?

You need to make sure the machine is in Copy Mode when you hit
# * C *
enter 14, then touch start
execute on the screen
the machine will reboot and the code should go away.

Sharp mx 2700n tc2 belt day

The second transfer belt is the rubber belt assembly which is inside the right door. The maintenance alert "TK2" indicates that the belt has gone past its' useful life and needs replacement or rebuilding, there is a rebuild kit available.

You only have to make single color copies with each color CMYK
and check all the copies if only the black and white copies is smeary
then replace only the black the drum unit.

Maintenance TK1

TK1 Primary transfer unit counter has reached preset value or number.

To correct error, replace primary transfer belt/rollers. Enter calibration/diagnostic mode and reset counter.

Odds are that you need a new Cyan drum unit... Have you tried to clean the primary charge unit yet? Good Luck

When i start sharp- mx27004 printer then show problem is ''call for service code f2-40''


Sounds like you need a service call. But, the tech should first check/inspect the Drum, Transfer Unit, and Fuser Unit and then reset your counter.
