    If this is an electric dryer, it probably has a failed heating element, but you will need to provide more detail as to the problem, and what the exact model number of the unit is.

Check the thermal fuse first. It is located under the top. It is pretty easy to get to. I assume you have checked the breakers and the wiring from the receptacle to the dryer itself.

Tumble dryer isblowing cold air only?

Your dryer is called smart dryer and in this case should have to generate familiy code E60 (or any of exactly fault code E61,62,63,64,65,66,67) if blowing cold air, as you explain. Means something is wrong with heating phase (drying).
So, in this case could be: Heater unit faulty; Wiring faulty; NTC sensor faulty/out of position; Electronic board faulty;
Thermostat faulty; and finally fun motor - but considering that it blows cool air I guess that is correct.

No heat in the dryer! The dryer runs and air has free flow to the exit vent but still not heat being generated

check on rear of dryer, as many have a small reset button for heater.If this is fitted then gently oush it inwards and this should solve the problem

Dryer works but is only blowing cold air. just bought the dryer last year and have already had it repaired once.

my Samsung was in a flood(so solution may only apply to floods), changed heater assembly, still blowing cold air, turned out to be the little black box on the generator, took box cover off,cleaned the connectors in box and voila...instant heat

No heat on my Intellidry?

make sure the control is not set to "air fluff" - check your BREAKERS! if one trips, motor will still run, but no heat, flip them BOTH off and on several times, then try it. if that's not it, check the element and the thermal fuse

There is only cold air in my kenmore elect dryer

The motor runs on 120VAC. The heating element requires 208/240VAC. Cycle the dryer circuit breaker. Other than a simple issue like that, the problem could be a bad heating element, thermostat, high limit control, thermal fuse, motor centrifugal switch, timer or electronic control. It can also be a wiring issue.

Will not dry clothes,blows cold air.

need brand.most dryers have thermal fuse that protect the element from going bad.I would first check your breaker and make sure it isnt tripped.a dryer will run but not heat if breaker is tripped.
