Error U2 on a Sharp AR-5132

There are 3 different U2 codes, but all are kinda related. They are all communication related errors to the MCU board. Firstly make sure the developer unit is in securely. You try canceling the error code by going into SIM mode. press the following keys one after the other "#" "interupt" "C" "interupt". enter 14 and press start, this should reset the copier. make sure the copier is restarted.
If reset does not work and developer unit is in securely then it would more than likely require a technician.
Hope this helps.

Toshiba estudio35 trouble code

Try 08-600 sub code of 2. This is a reanitilazation of the HDD it may help you out. If it errors and does't tell you to reboot then your hdd is shot. after this code you will lose all fax presets and templates stored on machine. also just try a reboot.

Kodak ektaprint 90

Hello tldant,
Wow, that is a very good copier although quite old.Unless the wheels have been run off of it its a keeper. I used to work for Kodak when they marketed this machine and I was a service tech for them. Great machine. I had one that had 6 million copies on it and was still worth keeping. Now to the point. Unfortunately this copier has a physical "jumper" inside the back panel that has been removed which causes the copier to expect some type of additional action to provide access to the device. There were several ways to gain access (access codes, external controllers, even a card like a credit card) to the copier once this jumper was removed. The jumper is actually a small connector that fits on the end of a wiring harness that basically completes a circuit to tell the copier to be ready. Without the jumper, the copier is waiting for an external device or virtual device to "complete" the circuit. It has been over 10 years since I touched one, so I am sorry that I can't recall the exact location of the wiring harness. However, typically the "jumper" (a small connector with a mere loop of wire from one pin to another) is tied near or onto the place it belongs. So I guess my point is that the copier is worth the time it would take to remove the covers and inspect the wiring in hopes of noticing a stray connector that is just dangling. I wish I could be of more help, but maybe I have been some help. Take care and good luck. :-) ................spinal........
