Child lock

open the door and look at the edge of the door that closes against the car (kinda wide and it is the area that seals against the weather stripping) you'll see a little oval hole with a black piece of metal bearly sticking out... just push it to the other side of the oval hole.

I have an Alpine CDA9884 the deck has been in my car for about 3mos and I've been listening to my speaker from the power put out by the deck itself. I have installed an Alpine PDX 4.100 and a PDX 1.600....

the manual says that you should power off the internal amp if using external amps. Maybe you need to do this to get power going through the remote turn on?

in the menu its "POWER IC ON" you need to change it to "POWER IC OFF"

hope this helps?
