Change the date and time on the copier

The date is now Oct. 09, 08. Time 05:14
today is Jan. 28, 09. I am sending this at 8:51 am.

Date and time not saved


After the warming up machines wants the Date and time.
first you press the stop button then enter 0101 followed by "enter" button. after one mints you machines display shows
"ready 100%"


if you are switch off the machines more than 7 hrs. again ask the date and time , then do the same steps above.

if you wants to enter the correct date and time pls. enter the month as first , then date , then year. suppose you want to enter today's date
like " 06012014"

How do I change the date from "Jan 20 00" to the proper date?


To change te date on the OfficeJet J4580 us the following steps.
1. press the setup button (that looks like a wrench).
2. press the right arrow key until you find Basic Setting then press OK.
3. In the Basic setting menu press the right arrow key until you find Date and Time then press OK.
4. Enter the date with the keypad (DD-MM-YY) then press OK.
5. Enter the time with the keypad (HH-MM), use the right arrow key to change between AM or PM then press OK.

These simple steps should help adjust your time settings

Cartridge stalling and black cartridge not printing ink


The first suggestion is to buy a no remanufactured cartige, buy an original HP 28 ( I think is the number for black)
