Want to add a different monitor to IBM ThinkCentre desktop steps

I'm not sure I understand what you intend to do ..but if this is just a monitor you intend to use..it may not be functional ..If you plugged it in the main vga out ..and it didn't come on right ..this means it is either something wrong with the monitor or with the video card ..
If you plugged it as secondary monitor..and you want to use them both ..but it didn't come on ..this is another story ..and you will have to get to the video settings ..and select teh desktops..and enable teh secondary monitor from teh video card settings ..Make sure you select the correct fuinction for it ..It may be clone ..and this will make them both look the same ..or extended ..and this will basically extend your monitor with the other ..and you will be able to slide your mouse from one to the other and also select different tasks ...
In this case you will also have to arrange their position to coincide with their actual one for to avoid confusion ..(just drag the monitors on the settings ..and change position ..)
If enabling will not make them function right ..you have to reinstall teh video card ..and restart ..or ..install teh operation system with both plugged in ..( i had some issues with a tv added as secondary monitor ..and never displayed colored images unless it was installed from the begining already plugged in with the main one ) ..

I'v just formatted my IBM THINKCENTRE P4 3.0 desktop and the sound card stopped working what do i have to do?

you will have to download a driver for the sound card. IBM was bought out by Lenovo so you will have to head to www.lenovo.com and search for the model of you computer.

IBM Desktop no sound after i tried to connect it to Television

check the connectiion cable and tv setting faults, if their is non then know your audio jack pin port is faulty. in case of the jack pin port fault you need to acquire pci audio card that you insert at the extesion slots or a usb audio card.

Yes, the is a built in sound card on the IBM 300PL. It emulates a "sound blaster pro" card. To download the driver, click this link:

I have problem with my IBM think center.my sound driver is not working again after formatting my PC

is it an integrated audio device or a sound card? i own a thinkcentre and i had the same problem, but just going into the device manager and right clicking on the problem device and updating the driver solved it for me, but i also added a soundblaster audigy ls sound card and both work fine now, however i have the same problem on my other pc, a dell, and i cant solve that one. another reason on my list of many to not buy a dell.

IBM NetVista M41 PC Desktop Os Install Impossible

You probably need an OEM version of XP...not that IBM version. If you buy an OEM version, you can use it many computers. A real XP disc will partition, format, and delete partitions on any functioning Hard drive. Don't buy a recovery disc, please. That just sounds WRONG.

A cheaper solution might be a new Hard Drive...but I don't trust your IBM version of XP.

Configuring two soundcards for parallel functioning

a windows computer can only use one sound card for one function

you can use the internal sound card for output
you can use the usb sound card for input / recording.

you can't use both for both.

Start -> control panel -> sounds and audio devices properties
open up audio page

You can have one device selected on Sound playback
You can have one device selected on Sound recording.

you can change which sound card is used for which function on this page. if you want to use the internal sound card set both settings to the internal if you want to use the external change both settings to the external.
