Transcend USB decreasing memory

My problem is my transcend usb drive which is 2 GB is now showing a size of 962 MB only,,, I already formatted the usb drive it did not solve the problem... and iam not able to transfer files more than 962 MB to the USB ... pls help

It seems that some space in your flash drive has been corrupted..So u can't get back full 2 GB after formatting..
