MY PS3 WILL NOT EJECT BLU RAY MOVIE

ps3 does not recognize the blu ray disc that i put in it and it will not eject. it just beeps like there is no disc inside.

Force eject works. The problem is the PS3 does not seem to know if a disk is in or not. So when I try and slip in a disk it diesn't trigger the motor to pull it in.

Any ideas?

-   Thanks. I've tried holding it for 15 sec to force eject, which works, but It still doesn't pull the disk into the drive. :-(

-   I can Play blue rays but it will not recognize the disk as I try and insert it. I have to force eject (which pulls in the disk) and kill the power before it ejects. :-(

Does anyone know what component I need to change to fix this.
Again, I can not insert a disk in the ps3-   slombard

press and hold eject button for around 15 seconds, it resets the cd drive, hope this helps
