This may be too late, but,

I was successful installing a Casio Privia PX-575R USB midi keyboard to Windows 7audio drivers - 2_bing.gif Ultimate x64!!!
I tried to use Yamaha, Korg, M-Audio, and some other drivers I don't remember and
they did not work.

I then downloaded the win 7 x64 driver for PC-50 from
http://www.roland.com/products/en/_support/dld.cfm?PRODUCT=PC-50&iRcId=16224976&dsp=1
(but I bet any of them would work) from Roland. All I did was change the hardware ID
in the INF file under

[Roland.NTamd64.6.1]
;; Windows7
%RDID0053DeviceDesc%=RDID0053Install, USB\VID_07CF&PID_6802

The ID is after the comma and the one you see above is from the Casio keyboard i have. The
hardware ID for your keyboard can be found in "device manager". Just choose your
hardware/keyboard and go to "details" and choose "hardware id" from the drop down
menu and put that after the comma. It will start with "USB" since it is a usb
devise. There may be more than one ID but the first one works for me. Then just do
a manual install by right clicking "computer" or "my computer" and click "device
manager" tab. Then find your keyboard (probably a yellow exclamation mark next to
it) and double click it. Then go to the "driver" tab and click "update driver".
Then choose "Browse my Computer for driver software", then "Let me pick from a list
of device drivers2_bing.gif on my computer", then "Have Disk..." and browse for the INF file
you just put the hardware ID in and click "open".

You now have a working Casio keyboard for a 64 bit or x64 windows 7 operating system.
You can do the same with Vista x64 or XP x642_bing.gif, just download those drivers and edit the hardware ID the same way.

Thanks

Hello well recently I connected up my CASIO CTK - 710, the problem I had in the first place was that i'm on windows 7 64 bit and there isn't any drivers available but after much searching a found a solution which worked :http://www.fixya.com/support/t1610144-au...

I done exactly what it said and it did work for a while but then when i installed sibelius 6 I started having problems like BSOD and stdriver64.sys then I messed around the sound drivers, attempted system restores and eventually the error went after I uninstalled some NCH audio software, although this software was never of any use but now I don't understand why but I have the CASIO CTK - 710 installed as a PC-50 driver which originally worked but now it doesn't it's just installed and I keep reinstalling it and sometimes it say's the device can not be started (code 10). When i'm using applications such as cubase and sibelius the midi device just can be found but just doesn't work. :/

Help would much appreciated please :D
