Question about Uniden Office Equipment & Supplies
I live in canada and bought a bearcat 669t scanner and can not figure how to program canadian police freq in it
SOURCE: UNIDEN BEARCAT BCT 15
Editing a Frequency:
[MENU] Program System F
Select a conventional system F
Edit Group F
Select a channel group F
Edit Channel F
Select the channel F
Edit Frequency F
Use the to and [.No] keys to enter or modify a frequency. When you press
the first place key, the cursor automatically moves one character to the right. You
can also , clockwise or counter-clockwise to highlight any digit.
If this does not help, and you need the owners manual, here is a link to the pdf format manual on Uniden:

danval, I looked up a pic of your scanner and it is pretty straightforward. If it is the 16 channel I was looking at, here is the step by step programming.
1- Push manual button to go to the channel you want to start programming.
2- Enter the freq number in.
3- Push the E button to enter it in the memory.
4- To review what you programmed, push the Review button.
5- Use manual button to step to next channel and start over from #2
That should get you started with the scanning hobby.
The scanner has a Priority button that when activated will stop scanning and go immediatly to the priority channel if someone keys their mic.
If you need freq's (or more of) for your area, go here and click on your state and county and it'll give you a complete listing.
Hope this helps you out, let us know,, Mechanic
