If you do not find any jammed pages there, reinstall the tray and go around to the back of the machine. Open the upper-rear cover and look there.
If the entire paper path appears to be clear, close the rear cover and power off the printer. Reinstall the toner cartridge and close the front cover. Power the printer back on. If a 200 error continues on power up, a sensor in the printer may be malfunctioning. This will require a service call to correct the issue. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support for additional information (see Contacting Lexmark Technical Supportbelow for details).
Step 1 Turn
the printer off and on to see if it can automatically clear some or all of the
jam. Many printers provide an error-code listing on the front panel display for
the area where the jam occurred. If your printer shows an error code, be sure
and check the printer manual to see if that identifies the area of the printer
where the jam occurred. Step 2 Turn
off the printer. Step 3 Remove
any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper. Step 4 Open
any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner
or ink cartridge. Step 5 If
necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it in a bag or away from
light to avoid damaging it. Step 6 If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both
hands and pulling firmly. The goal is to keep the paper from tearing.
If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first
to loosen the jam. Step 7 If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free
the paper. Don't force anything, though. Step 8 Replace
the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn
the printer back on. Step 9 If
the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in
the printer. Inspect the paper path once again.
The Unset E00* - remove front cover (not disconnecting train); under her on charge (not far from round flat battery) neatly, connected between itself contacts JP103 and JP104, include the device. Switch off. Open the contacts.
If paper jam light is solid or printer shows paper out light solid all the time,
Then try these suggeted steps:
Take the Tray 2 out and check if all the paper guides are moving freely if they are than remove the toner cartridge and check if any toner sensor is not align correctly. If they are aligned correctly than next to the pickup roller there is a small piece of plastic make sure it should be hanging freely if it is than we need to perform cold reset of the printer. Switch off the printer press and hold down the go button and switch the printer on keep holding down go button till the time three lights lit up on control panel, as soon as three lights lits up release the go button and let the printer initialise of it s own. If that doesn't fix than Formatter Board of the printer is faulty.
Logic: If there is no paper jam and printer rep[orts the jam means either any of the sensors is not aligned correctly and reporting the jam or formatter Board(Motherboard) of the printer is faulty and showing incorrect display.
