Samsung sf-5100 Fax machine - no paper

I have a samsung sf-5100 fax machine that comes up with a error message "no paper" even when there is paper in the tray. Sometimes it will print out ok after being switched off, but 90% of the time it has this error message. Any ideas on what I can do to sort this problem out? Cheers Ad

Check inside the paper tray area to see if the paper sensor flag is dislodged. Otherwise it will be a board problem. Vacuum clean out any toner spill. Try a can of compressed air to blow any paper dust from any sensor. They will be the little black U shaped devices. Make sure the flafs move freely in and out of the sensors.

Samsung SF-5100P

Machine will require fuser(hot bit at rear) replaced before it will operate, take to dealer for quote or if brave and 240v happy then buy a fuser and get your tools out rip off the covers and in the back you will find fuser assy.
