My screen is broken and i cant afford to replace the screen. However I would like to retrieve those txt messages as it might be important.
Could I access it with a USB link or bluetooth?
I downloaded the software USB Handset manager V9.2 but it is not recognising my phone. Is it because I have to enable it from my phone? If so what are the directions so I enable it without looking at the screen?

I downloaded Windows Universal Drivers but I think it is for modem use.
Anyway what is ma-cable? Isn't it the usb cable connected to the phone and computer?

No u dont need to enable any thing from the phone maybe what you need to do is visit the website of the maker of the phone on the download page you will get the exact drivers ontop of that you will also get some software that is called a phone browser this allows you to access everything that is in your phone including the contacts.
