Question about Electrolux Frigidaire Professional Series 24 in. Built-In Dishwasher Dishwasher
The top rack is not cleaning the dishes. The top cleaning arm spins freely, does not have anything blocking the jets, and seems to be moving (slowly) during the cycle. The bottom Arm Spins freely and cleans all the bottom dishes, none of the hole are blocked and water sprays out freely. I did notice on the bottom arm one of the end holes is chipped and not directing water correctly. Is that possibly causing the problem?

the white residue is actuially soap
at the risk of a bad rateing
try refilling your jet dry
or dont use those mixed soaps
also check to ensure there is nothing clogging the holes on the spray arm
hope this helps

Please check if something is blocked near the top spray arm, also make sure that all holes are open. Use a sharp metal pin to clean the holes on the top spray arm. Make sure the water pressure is not low.
under the screen and you'll need a Torx screwdriver to get to it after you remove the spray arm and screen. Check to see that the path it travels is clear. I have seen these get blocked up by stuff.
Now check if the top arm spins freely and check the bearings for the arm, if they are producing extra friction while the spray arm spins. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more assistance.
