Plug the effects out into the input of your reverb/echo unit, plug the out put of the processor into an unused channel in the mixer, do NOT turn up the effects in that channel, to hear the effects in the main use the main level, to hear effects in the monitor use the monitor level. you must turn up the the effect send in the channel you want to hear the effects on and also the effects master.

Peavey classic chorus 1991 -how do you connect a distortion pedal the power amp jacks at rear tried affects loop in front bid drop in power-do you connect same way as effects loop with send /return

Pedals operate at a different level then rack units that go in the effects loop.
It needs to go in front of the amp input. Guitar to pedal to amp input.

I have a Peavey XR-600 PA Head, I would like to know if and how can I connect a MX 200 Dual Reverb Effects Processor to the PA Head?

If it has a effects loop output and input on the p.a. head and a in and out on the reverb effects processor, then yes you can, just run the effects loop output signal into the input on your reverb processor, out of the output back into the input effects loop on the p.a. head, kinda like you would a effects pedal thru the effects loop of a guitar amplifier. hope this helps!

Can I connect my peavey 600b amp to aux or to my existing hifi

If you connect the Main 1/4" out on the front to you HiFi aux input it should work. You will need to play with the volume controls to set the proper level so as not to overload the aux buss. The XR-600B manual is here-

If you run the speakers FROM the main you should have BOTH the effects and the EQ invilved with your signal.

Looking for repair center near Belmont,Mass. ?? in need of a 50K Ohm Potentiometer and knob, the 50K Ohm is a part # 31190335 it is for a Peavey XR-600B

you might try Radio Shack for the pot, also a larger music store with or without repair dept, typically stock various pots like that, some with audio taper and some with linear taper Also if Radio Shack doesn't actually have it in stock they have an extensive parts suppy catalog in the store, also Allied Radio out of Chicago is another option, good luck

I Have a Peavey XR 600B mixer. There are only 2 inputs in the rear for speakers. I want to add more speakers to be used as monitors or just have extra speakers. How can this be done? I only have...

First off it's outputs to your speakers. If you had an extra set of powered or amplified speakers you could "Y" cable your speaker outputs. Your passive speakers won't work without an amp. You really need powered speakers or an amp for your extra speakers. (if you had powered/amp'd speakers you could run them off one of you "aux" out for monitors. Do not daisy chain your speakers connecting twi together, you'll change the resistance/ohms and damage your speakers. Trust me, I do this for a living.

I have just bought a peavey xr800f powered mixer but unable to get echo on mics any help would be appreciated thanks

There are SEVERAL things to set. First is setting the EFX mix for those channels you want the effects to be active. Next, select the effect you want AND the TIME for the effect and FINALLY the amount of the effect output to go to the MAIN and MONITOR outputs. Also the effect disable button below the effects needs to be in the correct state. ALL of these have to be set for using the effects on the mics.

Have a peavey-xr-600b peavey mixer amp. i get aloud hum and noise and cracking when plugging speaker jacks.

Hi chillin884

Not a good sign. Something has gone wrong with the output stages of your Peavey. It is not a good idea to continue plugging it in as damage may occur to your speakers. I suggest you take it to a decent music gear repair guy for a look see and give you a quote to repair These heads, like all Peavey gear, are pretty solid and worth repair. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news like this, good luck

regards
Graeme
