    hi all

clearing log file does not solve the problem. For this go to bios setup. In bios setup go to advance menu . From advance go to IPMI, from here go to System event log . Enable this System event log. Save and exit.

Please try all ,who are facing this problem.

    Thanks & Regards

In HP prolliant server sets, setup also logs system events. This error is due to that log. Enter setup, trace log and clear all events.

one other clue or decision on all servers set up correctly is how to handle log files.

there are 3 ways (besides disabled)
    1: wrap
    2: or no wrap.
I bet you have no wrap and runs out of space.
3: also there is file size max settings for logs.

warp means when the fixed size log file reaches the end the new data writes over the oldest (top of file)
    this prevents your problem
as will setting max size file larger.

all this is your decision setting up any server fresh and new, and in this case not done right.(IMO)

some folks backup the logs and reset them every month to keep records of all issues and problems in log files.
this is management decision. what to do .

Is HP ML 110 server compatible with 64-bit Windows 2008 R2 server?

Hi there,
Yes it should be.. Well the main important part is that you have a 64Bit processor installed on it.
So just make sure your processor is 64Bit then it will run 2008

I need to install windows server 2003 (standard edition) on a HP Proliant ML110 G4 server but I do not have the easy setup CD (smart start CD) and it would not have me install directly from the OS...

here is the download link for the easy set up cd, this is for the ml110 g5, however it is backward compatible so it should work in the ml110 g4

Richard the thing is that this server is running an operating system that is designed for a desktop, you will not find a driver for a ml110 g4 for windows xp, however the design of winxp is similar to the one of windows server 2003, so i am sending you the link for the driver for windows server 2003 give it a try and please let me know if it worked for you?

Hi, I m really sorry to say that but you have a Server Product and its built to run Windows Server Series on it (or Linux / Novell Netware).
This is the list of compatible Server list
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Microsoft Windows Server 2003 for 64-bit Extended Systems Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Essential Business Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Foundation Edition Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Small Business Microsoft Windows Server 2008 W32 Microsoft Windows Server 2008 x64 Novell NetWare 6.5 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 (AMD64/EM64T) Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 (x86) Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Server (x86) Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Server (x86-64) SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 (AMD64/EM64T) SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 (x86) SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 (AMD64/EM64T) SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 (x86)
Here is the link for Drivers
Try to use the Driver for Windows 2003.
It has a Matrox VGA as I know. If you know which Matrox series you have, then Browse here for the Drives: Matrox Graphics Support. Make sure that you choose the Exact Driver software which suites the System.
Note: Not every product has the Driver Software for Windows XP.
