Hi...there,
Open your on-screen display on your monitor, find & press auto adjust. If that doesn't work go to factory reset menu and pressed to reset to original settings. Then reboot your pc.

Crt monitor height are coming very small in size picture wat probelm

Did you set ur resolution screen setting higher than 1024 in ur computer panel resosulion setting?Yes than that is ur problems right there.CRT monitors modes are based on old technologies ,CRT monitors can't go up more than 1024 resolution setting.Setting resolution more than 1024 resolution for CRT models monitors will have thesse causes. The screen resolution on the screen will shrink and get smaller or will not have video resolution on the CRT monitors screens at all.Only LCD or LED monitors models can support and go higher than 1024 resolution setting has none of these causes.Time to upgrade for a new monitors technologies like LCD or LED monitors models.

The display is shrinked vertcally in the centre of my LG 915 monitor. plz help me out. Thanks

Hi nasirallahdi ,

If your display is shrinked vertically , please follow the below steps :-

  1. Check the settings button on your monitor , when you press the button you have multiple options coming up which includes reset option.
  2. Go to the reset option and select ok , so that your monitor is reset.
  3. If this does not solve your problem then it could be because of a incorrect resolution being set in your desktop properties , in the settings tab.
  4. To change the resolution settings you need to go to the display settings by finding the option on the desktop via right click and you can try changing the resolution and see if things get ok.
  5. If still the problem persists , then it could be a hardware fault which you need to get repaired via the manufacturer's warranty limit , if it has expired you will be charged for it.
  6. Most probably the problem is with the incorrect settings in the monitor panel , and i believe after you reset your monitor via the monitor panel , things would be alright hopefully.
Hope this helps ...:)

Screen horizondally pulled right side and screen rolled to left side

hi,
your monitors horizontal deflection side have some problem. you have to check the horizontal width cotrolling transistor mounded on the aluminum heatsik near the lot( line output transistor). also check the three mosfets which adjust the width for different resolutions. there are three such mosfets in the horizontal section.

fist of all replace the width controlling transistor in the heat sink. photo of mosfet and transistor is added for reference. not the exact number.
ok

Black at left and right of monitor

Since this is a CRT monitor, it doesn't have a native resolution like LCD monitors. You need to adjust the veritcal and horizontal sizes to fit the monitor. On the front of the monitor there are some menu buttons. You need to open the on-screen menu, then navigate to the Horizontal Size and Position menu, use the plus and minus buttons to grow and shrink the image. If it's not centered, use the Horizontal Position menu to move it around. Use this same system for the Vertical menu and you can get your image to fit your screen. By the way, you should have your operating system running with a white (or light colored screen) up when you do this so you can see all the edges of your desktop. The buttons are tricky, but they kinda make sense. Good Luck!

Horizontal display

Check with the manufacturer information that you have the refresh rates and maximum resolution set correctly. If in doubt, go to your display properties and try something basic to test if this is the problem. A basic setting may be as low as 1024x768 at 60 Hz.

(You can access your display settings by right-click the desktop anywhere and choose properties, then settings).

Leave the monitor at that setting for a while to see if the monitor changes the picture.

If the picture changes, it may be component failure in the monitor. If not, the problem is then related to the settings from your VGA card are too high or dense causing the monitor to fail after a time. Try something higher like 1280x1024 @ 60Hz and keep going till the picture fails. Compare the best functioning resolution with the manufacturer claims about the product in the product documentation.

Be sure there are no cable bunches and the power cables are not wrapped up with the VGA cable under the desk or there are not too many cables lying about, although unlikely, this has been known to distort the picture.

Let us know if this helps.

Cheers

Monitor settings can't be adjusted

You may need to check the resolution for your graphics card. Check the display settings in the control panel.
