Re: making a noise like a motorbike
Sounds as if your fan motor is hitting on something most likely ice. the fan cuts off and on when the door is opened. the easist fix is to defrost the unit manually by unloading all food and unplugging the unit for several hours. if yo arent in a position to do this it will require removing coil covers to gain access to the fan and remove the ice manually. good luck peyton

there is a evaporator defrosting problem; ice building-up. the evap fan is mounted right on top of the evap coil. this will get progressively worse; and, the fan will get completely jammed with ice; and stop altogether. your fridge will get warm and the freezer will not cool properly. you should get it looked at asap..
sounds like the motor is bad. if you have a warranty have him change it regardless if he thinks it is bad. the motor should not be noisy. If no warranty then have him check motor very good. also low refrigerant charge as well as it running too long can freeze it up and stop the fan. most refrigerators are designed to be against the wall this can be a factor in a freeze condition. I hope this helps you!
Water tank in bottom of fridge can freeze up if thermostat gives up. First water will stop coming out, then ice starts building up, then fan starts making noise as it brushes against ice, then fan fails, then fridge warms up ---- all a well know scenario with this fridge.
I wonder if this is the problem you have ?
Apparently Samsung are now recognizing this as a design fault and extending unit guarantee.

Spray a good quantity of WD-40 on the spindle of the fan motor where it enters the motor itself. This should get the fan working smoothly with no noise. This will probably solve the other problems, as the fan prevents various components from overheating and shutting down.
What happens is the defrost is controlled electronically from a circuit board, when this goes bad, the freezer quits defrosting, and freezes the fans that circulate air through the fridge side of things.
To check this, unplug the entire fridge, leave the freezer open, wait for it to defrost a bit, if this causes the fridge to start cooling again when you plug it back in, then its the defrost. You should also see ice crystals on the back of the freezer just under the icemaker.
its a heater cycle problem..the defroster is not working properly. its building up ice in the evaporator that touches the evaporator fan that makes that loud noise but stops when you open a door. it could be either a bad heater, a bad thermo disc or a bad timer.hope i was able to help
