BlackBerry turns on, buttons don't work, and screen won't show up

My screen went white suddenly, so I took out the battery and reinserted it, but the red led stayed on for a bit then went off. My phone didn't turn on or anything. I thought it was a dead battery so I leaved it alone for a bit. After trying to turn my phone on again, it didn't work. I took out the battery multiple times and the same red light would stay on for a couple seconds then turn off. After a couple trys I reinserted the battery and waited. The hour glass came on then went to a white screen then back to an hour glass. The main screen popped up but when I try to click an of applications it doesn't register. So I took out the battery again and it turned on back to the main screen. It said verfiying security something, and it did that. It worked for a second but when it went to the screen saver, I pushed the trackball to turn it on and it won't. I plugged it into the charger and the screen appeared. So the screen will only appear with the battery is inserted or plugged into the charger. But every time it goes to screen saver I have to do those things. And the clicking any application doesn't work. It won't open texts, call log, or anything... Haha I gave my phone a good coupld hits and now it's functioning right...I'm still sending this just incase I run into the problem again and know how to fix it. Thanks for taking the time to read this!!

Blackberry 8520 won't reboot goes half way then stops took battery out left all night still won't go any further what can I do ? Please

my phone does this ever so often... you will lose all the data on the phone. with the phone off take the sdd card out and then while holding the volume button (+ or - changes from phone to phone... hold the volume camera and power button and wait for the screen you dont ever see, if you stop holding or hold the wrong volume button it will not work... then when that screen pops up hit your menu button on the touch screen, use the volume button to scroll down to system restore or what ever its called and select it with the camera button... then reboot your phone.

Hi , i bought a curve 8520 3 weeks ago and it has been brill ,however last night the screen went white wiv the hourglass..i hav took the battery out for several hrs..and then replaced it...and my phone...

Hi,
The BlackBerry has the feature on auto-start. When you insert the Battery, the device will automatically boot-up. It'll be showing an hour glass while loading the settings. But if it is longing for more than 10 minutes, there might be some error in the OS. It's better to contact a near-by authorised Service Center.

Sounds like your screen is physically broken. If your Somebody needs to open your Blackberry and replace it. If you want somebody else to do it for you go to Blackberry Repair. If you want to do it yourself, here is an Blackberry 8520 Repair Guide that shows how to repair a Blackberry.

Phone just dies for a few minutes every so often--several times a day for the past ten days. Screen goes black and then there's a little white clock icon on the screen. A few minutes later it's fine...

A) Perform a hard reset on the BlackBerry smartphone.
A hard reset involves physically removing the battery from the smartphone and then reinserting it. To perform a hard reset, complete the following steps:
1) Remove the battery cover from the back of the BlackBerry
smartphone.
2) Remove the battery, and then reinsert it after a few seconds.
3) Replace the battery cover.
B) If the display is still not working, verify that the battery is charged by trying it in a different BlackBerry smartphone.

C) If the battery is working, download the latest BlackBerry® Device Software and install it using the application loader tool in BlackBerry® Desktop Manager

I dropped my blackberry bold and screen is white with red line

That means no battery, your lucky. Just go to a phone place and try a new battery. I am assuming you already took the battery out and tried reinserting it. Does the battery have red xx's on the bottom, if so it probably fell on grass and the moisture got to the battery some how.
