Question about Dryers
My Maytag Ensignia Dryer model number MDG7657BWQ has service us without any problems for years, but today my wife turn it on, it worked for about 10 min. and just quit, I checked power supply and it's working fine, our dryer isn't doing anything, no power, no lights, no nothing, could it be a fuse inside the dryer, nothing is making sence here, can someone help?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Typical parts that wear out and get noisy on that model are the two drum rollers (part # 12001541), the front drum glides #306508, the idler pulley Y303705 and the blower wheel 303836. None of these parts are very expensive, but to do all of them would definitely add up to the point that you might want to think about whether or not you want to keep the machine in operation especially after 10 years of good service.

Check spring tab behind door switch-if it's bent/out of adjustment, circuit will act like door is always open.
To confirm this, open door, set dryer to active setting, and hold in door switch; if it comes on, then it's either the spring tab, or the switch is malfunctioning

yes it can be tightened, you would have to take off the door, there should be 2 screws on left and 2 on right, then you would have to take off the dark brown like bolt on the left and right, there is a long L shape clip that holds top to front. Once you lift top tightened the bolt or add a bolt to the baffles..
