Thy physically removing the dvd rom (with the power off and the battery removed a) and then re-fitting it. This type of fault is often caused by a bad connection.
Hope this helps

When I enter the DVD in the ROM it show nothing. When I click the DVD ROM icon It shows no disk in the ROM

It might be a bad lense sensor of the DVD ROM or you can also try putting in other DVD/CD disk, if it still doesn't detect them then I suggest you replace the DVD drive.

Dvd rom is not recognized

Not all computers detect DVD-ROMs. Look at the label on your laptop drive. If it says it supports DVD-ROMs, than you will be able to use it. If not, consider buying a DVD-ROM drive.

I cant play a disc or DVD

Hello,

Please try to reboot your laptop then go to CMOS Settings and detect the CD/DVD Rom and try to see if it is detected by your system. If it is detect ted then exit CMOS Settings and then load the Operating system you have and ope the DVD/CD Rom you have. But if it does not detect the DVD/CD Rom then i advice you to find a computer technician to help you fix the problem cause hardware problem is the main reason why it does not detect the disk drive you have, its either the connection bus is not properly plug or the Disk drive is damage or not functioning well.

Thanks
