Couse the power transformer its over heat and i ready test with my multimeter and its no power thankyou
There is a HIDDEN fuse that is on the inside of Trans on the hot wire (the orange I believe) input side.....if u carefully/ attentively break the plastic tabs on OPPOSITE SIDE of INPUT WIRES, u can bypass the fuse by soldering either a small jumper (recommended ) or mk a solder jumper to bypass fuse also ¡¡¡¡!!!!! AND YES,,,, IT DOES WRK !!!! When heat builds up during HARD USAGE of receiver w/o a cooling fan, the heat "burns" the fuse, that's y I recommend soldering a jumper.... use multimeter to verify correct connection & didn't cross leads!!!!!!! & UR WELCOME ;)))

check/replace your speaker wires. If a wire came loose, it will go into "protect" mode and shut down, to protect from a short circuit.

I had this problem last night.
To solve it, you can reset the amp by:
1) Put the receiver on stand-by
2) Hold down "MODE" button and press on button
3) "S.F. CLR" appears in the display and surround is back on.
Good luck
