SOURCE: Parts for a Hilti TE72

Ebay would be your best bet. Hilti has not produced that drill since around 1992. They no longer have parts for it. That is a double throw switch. Usually the side that is burned out will be discolored or loose at the contact. If it is the left side you can take the bottem left wire and hook it to the top left wire at the contact. Or do the same if it is the right one.

We have a Hilti TE72 Hammer Drill.... We have taken it to fix but they say they can't find parts... We think it is the piston and a rubber gasket that goes with the piston.... Do you have this?

Parts are no longer available for the TE72. You may find some used parts on EBAY. If the tool is not hammering it would need more than the piston and oring that goes on the pistion. Without all the proper seals and gaskets I would not even attempt to repair. If you do attempt to repair it do not put more than 70cc of lube in the drill. Too much oil will distroy the gears.

No power at all for te72 hilti. Changed fuse and plug and cleaned brushes. Any help please

There should not be a fuse in the TE72. Do you have a continuity tester to test the switch, cord and stator?

If you have had the brushes out then you have had the motor endcap, fan and brush holder out. This would allow you to all the wiring on the 72. There are no electronics so it can all be tested easily. You have two wires coming from the switch that go to the stator. Then two stator wires that connect to the brush holder. Check that you have continuity through the cord, switch and stator.

Hi.I am trying to find a triger switch for a Hilti TE72 The switch fitted is a ''MARQUARDT 1264 1601 but any alternative would sufice. Thanks Keith

this is quite an old machine and the switch will no longer be abailable from hilti. However the TE805 has a very similar switch. instead of a trigger switch its a rocker switch, but it is possible to unscrew the top off your old switch and attach it to the new one. the part number is 17904

This is a problem we have encountered many times. There is usually a good supply of Hilti for sale used. See if you can find a drill the same as yours and swap out the parts.
