Yes, if say your windows media player is not recognizing your player in the sync box you need to do the following. On your action player desktop go into system, then go into other settings.you will see a section that says select device.......make sure that the MTP device is lit up in blue. the problem is that the "u memory "is being used and not the player so you can play your stuff on your computer but not sync anything back to the player. simple screw up but easy to fix. hope this helps
If you added songs/ videos to the device in MSC mode, then switch to MTP mode, you will not be able to see the songs added in MSC mode and vice versa, though the space used on the player will still reflect their presence. Switching modes should make the files show up. For example, switching from MSC to MTP mode or vice versa. But you can not see the songs / videos copied during other mode, is that clear as mud? Go to this tip it explains all a bit better.> http://www.fixya.com/support/r3774047-solve_mp3_player_connection_problem<
At the top of the screen on the right hand side beneath the battery symbol and the song number there will be either a star, a 1, or an a in a circle, if there is a star, touch the screen until it displays the a in a circle, then it will play all of the song. If it is a 1 it will only play one song over and over again
Mine started off doing the same thing, However, i haven't tried to upload any videos. But u have to go to settings and pick the option for "online device" and check the option for usb device and u should be okay from there! Hope this helps!! :)
