What you have is all a matter of converting mp3 files so you can put it on your player. There are many programs that do this, I prefer a program called tunebite. In that specific program you simply drop the files you want converted in and then select the output file type at the top as .MP3. It will drop the files into a tunebite folder in "My Documents" unless otherwise selected. You can then drag those to your portable device.

If you want another program or cannot find a serial number I can help with both. SImply message me or email me.

I can't put video on my Go Gear Mp3 i have the Go Gear 2GB

First you need to know , that mp3 is just an audio format . and your device can only play mp3 audio files . If you want to watch videos on a small device like your Gear , you need to buy another device called Mp4 player . because Mp4 is video format . Good luck . rate if useful please !

My son has a philips go gear mp3 player 2gb some

Ok, just make sure you put songs that are compatible with the player like mp3 or wma, but most preferably, mp3. if you put any other format than mp3 it will only appear as a file in the flash and will not play.

Phillips go gear 2gb wma files cannot be supported? :S

there are a number of ways to get media on your Mp3 player... for music, you can get tunes for free by visiting www.mp3raid.com or going to youtube and selecting the url either off to the side or at the top, then going to www.zamzar.com and converting to mp3 format.

For video, this is a little bit more complicated...
Heres what you do, make sure you have the philips video converter software that came with it. ( if you dont have it or lost the CD, then go here for the software download for free: http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?scy=US&slg=AEN&cat=MP3_PLAYERS_CA&sct=SU00304_SU&session=20090629205702_76.97.25.237&grp=PORTABLE_ENTERTAINMENT_GR&ctn=SA3025/37B&mid=Link_Software&hlt=Link_Software )
yes, that was a long link.
Find the video you want at youtube, then get the URL and go to Zamzar again, this time selecting the .wmv format and downloading it. once you have the video downloaded, open up the Philips media converter and find the file you just downloaded. after that, you should have a video! NOTE: make sure you mp3 player is plugged in when you are converting the video.

pictures...
this one is SOO easy. find the picture you want online and right click, then click "save picture as" and save it wherever you want it, then plug in your mp3 player and drag the picture file(s) into the picture folder!

My husband got somemusic on my go gear mp3 player and it wont let me listen to it it says file format not supported and i dont know how to take them off or get more on!

The songs that you are playing are either in AAC (iTunes) format - which is not supported by the player - or they are DRM-encrypted. If you really do have an SA6045, the player can definitely handle DRM encrypted-WMA's. If you have a newer Philips - different model # - then the player may not support DRM-encrypted files. The best thing to do is to download songs (or convert songs from CD as the other helper suggested) that are in pure mp3 format. Examples of services that do this are Rhapsody's Mp3-only Subscription (other Rhapsody subscriptions are DRM-encrypted, which will not work); or Limewire (make sure the format you are downloading is mp3 and not something else).
