Dear friend at first you should get a value by Input text box from user (remember that you should limit the value base on your stage's size).
After that, you can move your Movie clip by method of _x or _y
anyway, I also suggest you to check this website, you'll get all your answers here:

Enjoy it
Good luck my friend

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

C++ poker program

Hi.

I suggest creating an Array of Cards (cardOne,cardTwo,etc. to five)

If you can enter them in one at a time, after declaring the array, assign the values to the array.

cin < cardOne; (Psuedo code by the way, hope you don't mind)

Afterwards, you'll have an array with 5 cards.

Declare what full houses, flushes, etc would require.
Use an if statement (If you don't mind lots of code) to compare the entered Array against possible hands.

I didn't necessarily give you any specific C++ code. However, if you Google C++ user input, you should find plenty of commands that may help you.

Good Luck

(And not sure about Linear search to be honest, you can use a Linear search, but if you did it the way I explained, you just have to compare hand to a series of conditionals.)

Text box restriction

I hope this helps and thanks for rating my effort...any other questions...shoot em to me....The Fang.

Restricting character input You can use the SetInputTextType command to restrict the characters that the user can enter in the text input dialog box. For example, suppose an application contains an input text field for users to provide a numeric value, such as their age, and that the input text field has the variable name ageVar. To ensure that the user enters only numeric values in the text input dialog box, you could add the following code to your application:
fscommand2("SetInputTextType", "ageVar", "Numeric");
When users open the input text dialog box, they can enter only numeric values in the text fields.
For more information, see SetInputTextType in the fscommand2 function entry in the Flash Lite 2.x ActionScript Language Reference.

Dreamweaver MX and Vista

very simple actually.

I made a tutorial that shows how to fix it here: http://www.funkytower.com/2008/09/22/dreamweaver-mx-and-vista-fix-insert-tables-best-fix/

I've written a few on this before, but this seems to be the best fix. You more than likely won't get an answer because there are still alot of people using XP and they don't have this issue.

The fix is basically this: going to the program root folder and finding and modifying the function for inserting a table (which is either or both c:\program files\macromedia\dreamweaver mx\configuration\objects\common and/or c:\users\your user name\appdata\macromedia\dreamweaver mx\configuration\objects\common) This file happens to be a simple html file, so it's easy to tweak.

The tutorial's URL I gave above will give you all the details.

Hope that helps!
David

MS Frontpage and Macromedia Flash

There should be a tab to enter HTML. Once in there just put in something like this: Adjust your height/width and name accordingly. This is the most basic of codes and there are a few FAQs out there if you want to get a little fancier with it.
