Conversion of Kenmore Elite Gas Range 790.7523 from Natural gas to propane.

each burner has a natural gas jet or (orifice) as you pull them out, one atb a time. You should be able to color coordinate them at that point. the jets will be at the end of each gas line right before the burner. and each burner gets one. I haven't seen the model you are referring to. but the ones i have changed out in the past, usually the hole is the same size for all the burners no matter the size of the burners. I hope this helps. good luck with it!

Propane conversion kit

remove the grates, etc including the burners. inside the BBQ in the front there is a hole in the wall where the burner passed out of the fire box and into the control panel. stick your finger in that hole and you are touching the orifice. use a socket to unscrew the orifice and replace it with the new one. then in the back remove the LP regulator and add the NG regulator. you said you have the parts but Make Sure the regulator pressure matches the orifice holes. the boggest mistake people make is getting a regulator at (for instance) 6" when the orifices were drilled for 2" so the BTU's are way too hot or way too cool.

Dear sir i have a empire/corcho 1500 btu heater and i have a 70 gallon tank of propane tank but the heater says natural gas can i do this or do i have to use a conversion kit and do i do that and where do...

First off, yes you can convert it to propane. The difference is that the orifice, which should be in the conversion kit, has a smaller hole for the gas to pass through and needs to be changed. Secondly, the air consumption on propane is greater than that of natural gas and for that reason you need to open the air venturi, usually to the max to allow the largest amount of air to enter. Don't overlook the pilot light as well, it also needs to have a different orifice installed. You can find new orifices and/or conversion kits at the store where you buy your propane, assuming it's not a big box retailer. Go to a local propane supply location for the parts. Another option is to go directly to the manufacturers home page and order the propane orifices.

Gas stove need to switch to propane

Hi,

Hotpoint supplies the orifices and instructions with each range for converting. It is just that it is hidden, they attach it to the gas regulator. The regulator is near the bottom back typically. Here is a cut out from your use and care manual.

CONVERTING TO LP GAS (or converting
back to natural gas from LP)
This range leaves the factory set for use with natural
gas. If you want to convert to LP gas, the conversion
must be performed by a qualified LP gas installer.
The conversion instructions and LP orifices can be found
attached to the range next to the pressure regulator.
Keep these instructions and the orifices in case you want
to convert back to natural gas.

Do I need a part to convert my Maytag gas dryer/washer combo back from propane to Natural Gas?

Yes you can, but whether you should is another matter. I purchased a new dryer and needed it to be propane ready...you need to get the proper orifice (which lets the gas in to the burners) changed out. Natural gas orifice has a larger hole than a propane orifice. In addition, the regulator must be modified. It may involve flipping an insert under the cap (typical of stoves) or it may require conversion parts packed in the conversion kit (order one specific to your drier). This regulator is part of the piping within the back of the drier.

Incidentally, conversion orifice(s) should be included with the drier and screwed to the body in a clip. When you change it over and label the equipment as converted to propane, put the old natural gas orifice in the clip and screw it back onto the body. Put the instructions in a paper envelope and tape to the outside of the body of the drier.

New BBQ chaged from propane to NG

Hello. The conversion of any gas appliance usually requires changing orifices, regulator and burner. Then once those changes are made you can adjust the gas flow. The difference in the orifices is this.
Natural gas orifices are larger than liquid propane orifices simply because the gas pressure for the natural gas is lower.

I would double check to be sure that you have installed the correct orifice. Also, you can adjust the amount of gas by turning the orifice in or out, using that socket.

Convert to LP?

If it is possible, then the orifice has to be changed. The regulator may need to be changed as well. I am a certified LP technician for recreational vehicles, but I don't know enough about this particular appliance to say for sure if it can be converted. The best thing is to contact Miele directly, but this sort of conversion always requires a different orifice. Note that propane, butane, and natural gas are all forms of LP (Liquified petroleum), so conversion between the 3 is usually possible

Changed from natural gas to propane when new oven flames up the side top burners ok

Just bought a Kenmore and did this conversion myself. You do not change the oven nozzle (jets) but have to wrench it down with a 1/2" wrench as per instructions. After I did this the falme was high as you described. I wrenched it down further and adjusted the air shuttle and it was fine. The brioler is done the same. The wrench adjustment is tight so be aware.
