Re: will not turn on
This set likely has a shorted horizontal output transistor q4401 part #223942. There are many po9ssible causes for this. the most likely is a defective flyback transformer t4401 part #223952. If cr4106 is shorted q4401 will be destroyed at turn on. Also bad solder connections at t4301 can cause q4401 to fail.

Sounds like your power supply is causing the problem. Unplug the TV wait 10 minutes, look in the back for a red button (circuit breaker) push it in. If this does not work you have a low voltage power supply fault.

In the menu option, see and make sure that the speakers are turned on and that the Mute is off. Also if all that is good then unplug the set for a good 24 hours.
