Either the air duct is clogged or the internal loover is not opening the vent to the output vent. You will need to remove the end screen on the vent and feel inside while someone turns the air flow from floor vents to chest height vents...back and forth to feel if the inside loover is moving. If not, try to find either the air hose control or wire control on the loover disconnected.

On my 2009 1500 silverado, the driver side air cond blows HOT air as if the heat is on, but if you cycle the driver side temp control up then back down several times or turn the truck off like short trips...

There is a damper that controls whether heat or cooling or somewhere between that is controlled by the temperature controls. A separate system is controlling the passenger side and the driver side heating and cooling. I hope this is still under warrantee. If not it might be a big job to diagnose whether the problem is in the heat and cool controller, the wiring or the damper device. I hope this helps.

I have a 351 Windsor, when I put my hand to the exhaust tips the passenger side is blowing blazing hot strong exhaust, but the driver side is blowing cool weak exhaust. The truck will start, but will not...

Hello, I will try to answer this for you. Your truck must be one of the last models to use a Exhaust heat riser in the exhaust system. If you look at your Drivers side exhaust manifold you will see a flange at the end of this big exhaust pipe. There will be a spring and a metal pin protruding on one side of this large manifold.

Sometimes the spring and protrusion will be part of the exhaust manifold, and sometimes it will be a separate heavy metal ring with those parts on it. Either way, the function of this part is to block the exhaust on the Drivers side and to force the heat of the exhaust back to the engine. You need to make sure that this device will turn the shaft that the spring is connected to.

The spring on this device is suppose to expand when it gets hot and then close when it is cold. The internal flap will then move accordingly. At least that is the plan. It is common for the flap to seize. But you should know that part of the time, because of this part, there will be a difference in the right and left exhaust flow. If the flap is seized it can stall the engine at idle or low speeds.

Next, you might want to get a free scan at Autozone or Oreillys to check for additional problems.
I hope my solution helps you fix your truck.

AC BLOWING WEAK

If your A/C is blowing weak:

1st: make sure you have the fan up all the way, and you're A/C is on the MAX selection. If it's on Normal A/C it will blow lightly even with the fan up as far as it will go - however - if your heater blows strongly, but he A/C on MAX does not - you may need to replace the blower motor (usually installed on the passenger side, on the rear firewall, or under the dash on the passenger side (near heater core).

Also consider the fact that the engine has to work a little harder to operate the A/C pump, as it is having to cool the air faster (on normal); it is recommended that while driving, to run A/C on MAX as the A/C pump doesn't work as hard to cool the air - and does not use as much gas.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Central heat does not blow hot air, just warm air weakly

Sounds like some of the elements are not working. You being in Florida they may not have put very many elements in. It was 61 degrees last week. I know because I'm a Dolphin Fan. You will need a current sensing meter to check the elements.

Blower blows weak with A/C on; When A/C is off blows strong

This is not a blend door problem. It is a problem w/ your AC / Heater blower motor Resistor. When this goes out some vehicles will blow intermitantly. Others will blow strong in the low position and low on high. On my 2004 Silverado the resistor is located under the glove box mounted w/ 4 screws. It is a small black box no larger than a cigarette package. Laying flat on the floorboard look up and towards the center you shouldn't be able to miss it. Easy to change, simply plug the new one in and screw back in place. Took me 5 min.

Air flow weak when set to heat

check for dirty cab air inlet or "HVAC" filter, or heater core is plugged from debris and air is being restricted and wont blow through. it works like a radiator, air ducts can also be getting stuck.

Is it leaking antefreeze?
The thermostat might be gone or needs a bigger thermostat
It could be a vaccum leak for the drivers side blowing cool air and the passenger side blowing warm air
Does it have dual air control switches one for drivers side and one for passengers side?

Climate contol air condition blows hot air drivers side and cold air passenger side how can this problem be fixed

This sounds like a problem with the one of the temperature door actuator motors. Depending on which side has the problem- Hot on dr. side when you want heat but cool oin pass. side when you want heat. Or vise-versa. These motos are approx. $75 plus 1 1/2 hours labor to install.
