How do i make the screen go to full width etc on my tv?

Could be a function of the video you are watching. Change channels and see if screen size is restored to normal width.

Check for the setting of the player you are using and lower the zoom value if you can ,if not then it is normal as the full screen option does the stretch to fit the screen.

hi there, i don't know your TV brand but this could be of help anyway. there is an adjustment for horizontal and vertical width. you can manually adjust the setting until it fits the picture on the screen. for standard TV it has trimmer in the CRT board. If in your case you have a soft adjustment in the remote control try to adjust it. Learn how the menu works just look for the picture adjustment.

you can convert the video to one of this sizes (1920x1080 or 1280x720) and it must fit exactly to your screen.
If the video is not panoramic (16:9 or 16:10), you may have to crop it to fit on the given screen sizes.

you most likley have it on zoom. press menu go to zoom, and go to through until u find 'full'

if you are referring to online pages, for internet explorer browsers you must click 'Page', scroll down to 'Zoom' and choose 100% to fit everything on the screen. you may also want to adjust text size or screen resolution. hope this helps. please rate me and thanks for choosing enterprise computing solutions

If you haven't tried to change the format yet, try that first. Most of these tv's have a wide range of options from full to wide to split etc. Stretch would probably work in most hd formats.

Frame width is normal means. Check aspect ratio is changed in menu options. Even width is also enlargement means there is high output from power supply section. Check and change the high voltage filter capacitor.

if you go to the menu on your tv it should show picture you may need to snoop around for it but its there and when you do find it adjust it untill you got a nice picture about the tv not being full on the screen try buying wide sceen movies it should help but the adjustments should help the most
