SOURCE: Clarion VRX485VD does not want to play Ipod videos

A new cable for iPod playback will be released shortly. It will be called the CCUIPOD2, a software upgrade to your unit may be required.

SOURCE: clarion vrx485vd wont play videos from iphone when connected

You need a composite video cable to the Clarion Video input. The usual ipod adapter is for audio only. If you have an AV ipod adapter and you still don't have video, the signal is not strong enough for the clarion to see it and you need a 12volt pre amp. you can find them online starting around 25. Hope this helps

SOURCE: I just install new Clarion BTL370 in the Clarion

A few things to check...

Make sure the receiver is set to "tel sw" or something similar in the menu. From there, you should be able to set the call to the left or right speaker. Make sure you set the headset to the same side.

Another thing to check, make a call and get connected through the headset. Now wait a few seconds and push a button on the phone to power the backlight. If it is wired correctly, you should see the "connected" timer on your phone keep time. If it appears that you are connected, the problem is most likely in the settings.

Also, if nothing else works, make sure that you have the accessory wire(should be red on the BLT370) connected to the right wires. All the other wires will power it on even if this wire is not connected correctly.

SOURCE: i was driving down the road and my clarion

Could be a bad speaker causing the problem.. Disconnect the speakers, and then reconnect them one by one with the radio on, and see what happens.

SOURCE: Need help with brake bypass

This is easy but illegal and you will be fined if the police catch you driving and watching a dvd, but all you do is ground the green from the radio to the car chassis from the radio.
Here is the installation manual if you need it. The wiring schematic is included

Just bought player but remote doesn't work, I got new batteries is there a code for this clarion cd/dvd car stereo

No. Your original remote doesn't need codes. It is UNIQUE and should cover all features of your device. If won't work with new batteries, it has some problem and you should claim your warranty rights to repair or change it.
