Question about Arctic Pool & Spa
My flo light is on for pump 1. Tried all trouble shooting tips. How do I replace the pressure switch which is listed as a possible solution
First, locate the pressure switch and disconnect the wires that attach to it (they should just pull off). Now use another wire to connect those two wires, thus bypassing the pressure switch. If the problem continues, it is not the switch. If it works while in bypass, it is probably the switch, which just unscrews.
Otherwise check to make sure that your water level is right and there are no obstructions in the filter or the suction line.

please try to double check the water level. Alot of these spas are very sensitive to the water level. One other thing you can check is the terminal board connections. Some times these burn out. Let me know if any of these helps.

The pressure switch is on the inlet/outlet manifold. It has purple wires running to it. Try taking a wire and unplugging the pressure switch and jumping the 2 wires together.

It's not possible to stop the spa from starting up after a power loss. Most spas go through a self test then try to reach the last set temperature. Pump 1 usually runs the filter/heater, once it's activated it should run for 20min or until you turn it off. The high speed on pump 1 should always work. One problem with the pump may be that it's heating up and the internal high limit won't let it turn on. When you shut the pump off, the motor gets even hotter for a period of time since the fan is not turning, it may be getting hot enough to trip the internal high limit so that it won't turn on until the motor cools down. It won't turn on even if the topside control indicated that it should be on.

Possible bad motor. You would need to test voltage at the motor connections with a multi meter. If the voltage is correct, then the motor or start capacitor is bad. If the proper voltage is not correct, then you would need to look upline in the electrical system to find the problem
