SOURCE: burner flame height adjustment

All ignitors will always arc whenever one of them does.

I haven't worked with propane systems much, but it seems you may need the propane pressure regulator adjusted.

If the problem is only with the power burner, I would ensure that particular orifice was actually changed. The hole in a propane orifice is smaller than for natural gas.

Take a 1/2 inch open end wrench and tighten the orifice on the oven gas valve. Then adjust the air shutter on the venturi tube.

HI, To adjust the size of the flame, turn the orfice clockwise to make it smaller. you can also try and adjust the air shuttle on the burner.
Are you trying to change from natural to LP?

How to adjust oven burners to lower it and to turn up top burners

Really you should get a registered gas fitter to do this especially with the oven.

There is a small set screw behind the plate that covers the control knobs. Light the burner, turn the knob to its lowest setting and then use the adjusting screw to set the minimum flame height. The flame must be robust enough that it can't blow out when you open a door or window and create a draught.

Control knob doesnt adjust flame height?

Use a manometer to insure lp gas pressure is correct. The regulator for the stove may need adjusting. The air mixture adjustment may not be correct for PL as well.

Gas fire place flame to low, do you have a schematic to increase the flame ?

Generally, whether it's a Vent-free or Vented fireplace, lower than normal flame height is caused by 3 things: Low Gas pressure; The air shutter control valve is clogged or needs adjusting; The burners need cleaning.

I haven't seen a unit in the past 10 years, that has a flame height adjustment, other the flame height control knob, that's part of the control assembly. Have you checked that, to see what height it's turned to low?

Perhaps, if I knew who the manufacturer was and the model number, I could be of more help to you.

Burner flame adjustment

there are two considerations for burner height. 1) the gas adjustment screw on the knob and 2) the gas-air mixture to the burner. establish a flame and adjust the screw for a standing flame at the burner. adjust the gas-air ratio orifice so that the flame has no yellow tips.
