BenQ FP71G+S Horizonal Fuzzy Lines Occ...

Hi All,

I've got a monitor around 3 years old (and while it's fairly old, it would be nice to fix it if possible) that's occasionally getting horizontal lines across the screen... it becomes all blurry and you can turn the monitor off and turn it back on 5 mins later and it's gone. Connecting it to a different source doesn't help as I connected it to my macbook pro and it did the same thing. I haven't tried a different cable as of yet but I'm just wondering if someone else has come across this issue? It's not the connection though as wriggling it around does nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
I have a ViewSonic lcd monitor, Model VG150. On the sign in page for Windows XP, the screen is fuzzy and there are black horizontal lines in various widths usually along the sides
